How do I suggest a split?

You can suggest a split at any time before the Splits Requests are due (Wednesday, week #3). Submitting your suggestion early (week #1) maximizes the opportunity for others to join your split.

Locate the item

Locate the desired item in the online catalog.

Mark it as a Split

WARNING: See what happens when you skip this step – last example (below).

Choose how many you want

Hint: You can actually specify a quantity of zero (0) to suggest an item without actually requesting it for yourself.

Indicate how many more you'll accept

If you're willing to take more to help complete a case, enter how many extras (i.e., how many more) you'll accept to fill a case.

Add the item to your Basket

View/adjust your split suggestion

Add to Basket returns to your basket list, where you'll see your suggestion. You can adjust your Quantity and More numbers at any time. Just remember to click "Update Basket" after any change.

WARNING: Don't forget to click the "Split" box!

Real-life example: I wanted 2 - 3 bags of Terra Sweet Potato Chips. Forgetting to click the "Splits" option turned this into an order for 2 cases of chips for $62.40!
