the Story Behind the Domain Name

Catherine and Ward gave themselves an Internet domain in celebration of their 30th wedding anniversary—a gift for the 90's. Agreeing on the domain name proved difficult. When they managed to agree on a name, someone else had already registered it.

Days and weeks passed.

Ward's favorite theme, Macintosh, eventually led to "Loud Zen", to which Catherine responded
"Yes! The question tickles my mind: what is loud Zen?"

Two years later, Catherine's cyberfriend Vikki answered her question.
And the Loud Zen site acquired a subtitle.
