Interface (poem)

Mind and world co-arise
Mind is not the creator of experience
Mind does not create world,
they create each other.
Exist cradled in each other
nourish each other
have faith, or not,
in each other.

I'm not the only source of my problems; I can't fix them all
But like Roosevelt said, I wouldn't respect myself if I didn't try.

Between mind and world a semi-permeable membrane
[self?]
has been malfunctioning:
long strings of improbable frighteningly bad health luck
like I'm cursed.

What do I do?
Comb my psychic field, untangling knots and rats' nests
May all beings know joy
Wash the clogged membrane til mind-waves run clear
May I enjoy physical well-being

May I learn to receive trust enjoy
Shielded by the ferocity of my passion faith intention
Protective demon joyful in wrath, cunning in wisdom
dances with impeccable timing
(Who is the dancer, who is the dance?)

Mind and world are dancing
Stay in dancing mind.
